Can't imagine webmaster reads all the questions - which of course includes yours ! Can I suggest you "report this question" as one would with offensive offerings, to bring it to webmaster's attention. I was going to do it for you, but you'd not thank me if some automatic programme consequently deleted your question & barred you for life ! Chris.

I agree with you, but this is not the only irritation to what is otherwise an exceptional site. The pratice of using surnames for contributors is very user unfriendly and the intense irritation of completing the same questions each time one makes a contribution are surely things www.CRUISE.co.uk could easily remedy.

Hi! If your still using steam powered Internet Explorer why not change to Mozilla Firefox? It memorises address forms etc & a double click on each line fills the box. It's also about twice as fast as I.E. hence my reference to steam power.........Regards Wilba.

You could always ring the Freephone & ask to be put through to webmaster/operator, as I have done in the past, & found them to be most helpful.

Good idea, it is rather irritating. If you do report it could you mention the convoluted way of replying to questions where you have to enter all your contact details every time you reply? Lots of websites let you sign up once and then that's it and it would be so much better if this was the same. Thanks Liz.

Thank you for all your valuable comments and suggestions which I have taken onboard. We will get the links sorted out asap. We do not ask people to sign in as we have so many usernames and passwords these days that we thought that retaining your information in a "cookie" would be more helpful for our regular users. Using the surname - we wanted to ensure that it was clear who was answering/commenting on who as some of the threads can become long. I appreciate your comments - anymore are most welcome. Glad you all enjoy and find the site useful.

Thanks for the response webmaster - I won't report myself now to bring it to your attention! On the subject of cookies, they seem to have a short shelf life as I seem to have to re-enter the information after just a few hours. Perhaps they could be reprogrammed to retain the information for longer? Keep up the good work with this site by the way - it is invaluable for getting honest opinions on cruise lines and ships.

Would it not be in everyone's interest if each thread were shown as a title in cruise line form as per your rival American site. This may help avoid the constant tirade of previously answered questions. It is quite clear that a lot of people just can't be bothered to read through the questions as very often they are asking the same thing on the same page. 'Stickys' would be great at the start of each cruise line page with the price of a pint, will me curlers work, can I wear me jeans on formal night & the like? As for filling in the address bar, my comments to Taylor, Loughborough may help some.
