I appreciate the wise advice given by Christopher and you must make up your mind as to whether this is a wise deal or not but 100 shares will cost US$860, every time you do a 14 day cruise they will give you $250 onboard credit and a lesser amount for shorter cruises. See how much you are going to cruise with RCI, Celebrity and/or Azamara and do the maths remembering you will still have the shares, albeit at whatever price. If you are still interested you might try Redmayne Bentley, Southampton, 02380 229 229 which is where I bought mine. (i have asked their permission to give out this information). .......Neil.

Thank you Neil, all stockbrokers I called even the one you mention says that the shares have to be held in a "nominee account" if this is the case can you still get the benefits ?

Yes, all you have to do, when you have a firm booking, is to send an e-mail to LBuchannan@rccl.com ( That's Linda Buchannan) saying which cruise and asking for the bonus and you will get an acknowledgement and the credit as an additon to your onboard account. You will also recieve monthly dividends which have amounted to about £80 per year but I await to see what this year will bring .... Neil.

I did post a reply but it was not printed probably because I used an e-mail address on it. The answer is yes and you will get a dividend each month, last year that amounted to about £80 odd. All you have to do when you have booked your cruise is to tell them at RCI (Linda Buchannan) and ask for the credit which you will get on your onboard account . ...... Neil.

Thank you Neil & Ida, I have called Redayne Bentley in Southampton today but they did not get back to me as thye said they would, what a shame. I have found a broker in London that can buy the shares but only if held in a "nominated account" and they have contacted RCL all day without success, so I am still waiting to buy the shares until I am absolutely sure to be able to get the benefits. It seems to be really difficult for a UK based customer to buy shares in RCL, surely it shouldn't be so hard !

Thank you all for your help. I have bought 200 shares yesterday at $6.64 which i thought was cheap..... I also contacted RCL and they confirmed that if I email them a proof of purchase from a broker it will be sufficient to get the benefits.
