The only ship I know provides this facility in it's medical centre is Peter Deilmann's Deutschland, which is mainly aimed at the German market though it can be booked in the UK and has English speaking crew. It is a very attractive ship and quite small --about 25,000 tons Ithink. There may of course be others--you need to check with the lines you are considering. Cynthia.

Thank you for taking the trouble to answer, yes we are looking at all the lines. When you read the general advertising for the cruise companies they give the impression that it is no big problem. We are beginning to realise that although cruise companies can look after your dietary needs, some medical problems pose obstacles that may be beyond their scope?

There have been a number o...

Thomson Cruises have made some changes in recent years and things are really working for them, in the last 5 years they have seen an increase in passenger numbers of 40%, with 20% being in the last year alone. They have always been looked down upon by a lot of customers, although unjustly so as their reviews have always been good. But with older ships and less of the pomp and ceremony of other lines they have been viewed as being at the lower end of the market. In 2016, they made a major ...
