Here's the direct link to the Airmiles site http://www.airmiles.co.uk/collect/partner.do?partner=Lloyds+TSB+Airmiles+Duo&affiliateid=Airmiles1500&WT.mc_id=Air0802H_CMO&from=collectlist I applied for the card when the same deal was offered last year. The deal is a good one, but it isn't quite as straight forward as it sounds. You have to apply by the end of March and spend at least £10 on the card before you are awarded a 1500 mile voucher. This is sufficient for a couple of short-haul flights (we used them on a Glasgow-Heathrow-Glasgow trip for two people) BUT you have to book and pay for at least one night's accommodation through the Airmiles site at the same time as you use the voucher. We simply booked the cheapest available for one of the nights we were away and didn't use it. The credit cards you end up with - one Amex and one Mastercard - give you Airmiles which you can save up to get free flights in the future.

When standing on deck I still get goose bumps as this massive ship glides slowly past all the major sights of this charming city. So close you can see into windows and see the faces of the lovers sailing on the romantic Gondola rides. It is unbelievable at how c...

How Fred Olsen compares

By Charlene Thackeray

Charlene Thackeray's blog

We are recently back from our first Fred Olsen cruise.Whilst this is the smallest ship we have been on as a family there were lots of great things and a few not so great things for us. We knew there would not be much for Charlie on board however he had a great time with all his new friends from the Entertainments team. I can honestly say the entertainment team were really friendly and put on some great shows. I loved how the stage rose in the Neptune lounge making it a great area for lots of ...
