We were on P&O Oceana's christmas cruise this year which started in Acapulco. We landed at 7am, were in our cabins for approx 10am and then got off the ship to go see the divers do the 1.00 show. We got a taxi for 20US dollars at the dockside, its about 10 mins away but through some very uphill and crowded areas (wouldn't reccomend walking). Driver was very good, informative about the divers, best place to watch etc, waited for us, and took us back to the ship. It was very very hot there while waiting for them to perform and theres no shade, but they were well worth seeing - Enjoy!

Taxis are not a problem, but will cost you much more outside the dock, however its easier, a tip I would give you is to buy a ticket to go in to the restaurant which overlooks the divers was around 10 dollers if my memory serves me right, but you get two free drinks within that, much better than standing in the hot sun.

“Cruising is so expensive” – This is something that comes up in conversation from time to time especially new to cruising people, I always point out the pros & cons of both, but thought it may be a good idea to show you the advantages of cruising as opposed to Land holiday and have chosen the destination of – Hawaii. –  CRUISE; based on 7 nights the ship NCL Pride of America and the itinerary is the round trip Hawaiian cruise and includes a one ni...

Hawaii FIVE O!!!!!

By Drew Lazarus

Hey! Back again with some more world cruise ports and pics! I think the shot above (the whale breaching the ocean) says it all. So whilst on tender duty in Lahaina , assisting passengers get ashore, I was fortunate enough to witness this through a tender boat window. I still look at the picture and think WOW!!! This was of course the high light of the day for me. There were a number of many different varieties of whales that were not shy and for want of a better word were parading around the...
