Good job they didn't show Titanic or you would be completely paranoid.

There are close on 270/290 cruise ships in the world and you are more likely to be run over by a bus than be involved in a cruise ship disaster, so I wouldn't let it put you off enjoying your cruises. Better not watch Airplane I think its called or flying might go out the window as well !!

Yes definately getting dafter. But that gives us carte blanche to reply. Great fun to do so You take your life in your hands and try to enjoy what you have left. But leave me out of the flying bit. Happy new year all of you.

Not being a member of the amusingly quick witted, I sneakily love reading the replies to the seemingly silly questions that are occasionally posted. As long as replies are pleasant and inoffensive it will be a pleasure to keep reading them.

At least you would know what to do if the ship turned Turtle. Go down to get up and out. We would rather risk a ship than a plane. At least you have a chance. If a plane comes down, bye-bye! My tip, dont watch anymore disaster movies. Take care and happy cruising.

Cruising is statistically much safer than air travel, and I know that in an average year more people worldwide are killed by donkeys than are killed by air crashes. So whatever you do, keep well away from Blackpool beach!

Roberts - Answered a Question by b (05 Jan 09 03:23)

Was it the 2006 version or the 1972 version as this could be instrumental in saving your life in the event of the ship overturning. stick with reverend or career gambler at all costs. I'd also recommend you watch some of the following films Speed 2, Jaws, Deep Blue Sea, Deep Water, Boat Trip and the Love Boat and then send me your tickets. Some of them are worse films than Poseiden.

P&O have announced the much loved Adonia will be making a comeback!! The ship left the fleet back in 2015 but seems was missed by too many P&O passengers and will make a come back from June 2017She left P&O to sail as “fathom cruises” which is a line dedicated to volunteer tourism. Fathom is the newest brand in the Carnival Corporation & plc family, which carries nearly 11 million passengers every year to ports around the world. I must admit I didn’t reall...

48 Hours In London

Stacey Williams's blog

I have just returned from my last trip of 2016 and I am all refreshed ready for December which I can’t believe starts tomorrow! A couple of months ago I decided to book a few days in London as I did last November because I had such a great time then. Kevin hasn’t been before so I wanted to squeeze as much into two days as we could. We took the lunch time train down on Sunday which took four hours from Carlisle to Euston. Once there, we managed to navigate ourselves from there to...
