Royal Caribbean & Celebrity still have designated indoor smoking areas, these policies are a constantly changing merrygoround so unless your planning a cruise for next week I wouldn't rely on any current rules being in progress for next year........Wilba.

Have checked their policy. its a bit muddled. no smoking at all now in staterooms, or a 250 dollor cleaning charge if caught smoking in your cabin. think its only in their outside bars.

Ncl have a cigar bar next to other bars such as the champagne bar.

Ocean village goes non indoor smoking from april 2009. have checked their policy on line. thanks for reply.

Island star allowed smoking in the bars ( supposed to be separate areas) , this was in October 08 and is one reason why we decided on thompsons which only allows smoking outside.
