Forget cruising, Will, and hurry down to bag a bargain at your local camping shop's pre-Christmas clearout, for now is the winter of our discount tent.

Neil & Ida Down - Answered a Question by Halstead (08 Dec 08 14:21)

Ow. ow, ow. The Christmas cracker motto section are missing two of their master workers. I hate to say this on a site promoted by a cruise agency (albeit the best in Europe) but I would currently hang on unless you are talking about peak times when you ought to bite the bullet and book. If you are going to book it is better that you do it with one of the RCI group because if their price goes down then you can claim the reduction. I will add that in my experience you have to claim it they don't volunteer it. Having said what I have I did enjoy the awful misquotation. ......Neil.

Wilba - Answered a Question by Halstead (08 Dec 08 17:30)

Yes! Totally agree with Neil about the RCI price drop policy. A word of caution, make sure your agent is prepared to honour the deal 'before' you book with them, as some agents are reluctant due to the loss of income....Wilba ......P.S. I've spent all afternoon trying to beat Hancock's reply, brilliant!!

It's all down to my scriptwriters, Wilba. And you need a pencil of the right grade: 2B or not 2B? - that is the question.

A Right Royal Caribbean Dress ...

By Hannah Wilson

Over the last few years there has been a general drift towards more casual attire during the evening on certain cruise lines. P&O and Cunard have done away with semi-formal evenings and now just have Formal or Casual attire while Celebrity have introduced Evening Chic which is really evening casual by another name. The latter is proving especially popular with men who no longer have to find room in their suitcase for their dinner suit, also those who hate formal attire when they are on ho...

Celebrity Edge is on its Way

By Robin Clarke

Robin Clarke's blog

So the brand new Celebrity Edge has now gone on sale for her maiden voyage on the 16th of December starting her Caribbean voyages where she will be based in Fort Lauderdale. This ship is like no other at sea with so many fantastic new amenities on-board such as the new infinite balconies which even I was blown away by this. The balcony itself is now within the cabin and has a separator if you wish to use it to separate the balcony from the cabin. You then have a switch that you can push that ...

New Ban hits flights from UK ...

By Julia Rhodes

Julia Rhodes's blog

We have all been horrified by the news recently of the terror attack that took place in Westminster and in particular on Westminster Bridge. It was devastating to hear that a Police Office lost his life along with other innocent people who were walking on the Bridge that day. They say the attack took 86 second in total but will have a lifetime effect on many. My Brother in Law works in the Houses or Parliament and, in his words, was told to run for his life when the attack was taking place ne...
