We flew with Thomsonfly from Gatwick to San Juan (Princess Cruises) and we thought they were excellent. The food was much better than the US based airlines we have travelled on transatlantic and there was also a free bar!! The crew gave excellent service and we even got a pack containing moisturiser, toothpaste/toothbrush, socks and eye mask on the return overnight flight. The only problem we found was that we could not reserve seats prior to departure so it is important to check in early. Hope this helps.
We have not long returned from Ventura (A Great Ship by the way) and flew back overnight from Barbados to Gatwick on Thompsons. We were in what I term as Cattle Class but, this was certainly not so. Plenty of leg room even if though not seated in Premium Class, also good meals and service. If you want the complete use of the TV/Film services on board you have to pay a supplement of £5 but, otherwise, drinks, Newspapers etc. were all inclusive for us. Perhaps a more robust person may find the seats a bit on the narrow side but otherwise complements all round to Thompson-Fly.
Thank you also glad to hear you enjoyed the ship I am slightly nervous after all the bad reviews.
