There IS ONLY ONE cruiseline to consider for atmosphere and service and that sails out of Southampton - P&O. There is always a very full daytime and evening itinerary and sometimes one of the joys of a cruise is being on board at Port when 75% of the other passengers go ashore - sheer bliss. Not cheap but definitely good value for money when you take into consideration what you get. Book for next year before the end of this month and get onboard credit and free parking at Southampton (or Evesway Coaches - see back of P&O brochure run coaches to and from the Port). Try John Moore at GoCruise (Bristol) on e-mail address - johnm@gocruise.co.uk (Telephone 0117 939195) and say "Kathy sent you!". His prices are usually the best. I scout around about 8/9 Tour operators each time but have booked my last seven cruises with Mr Moore. Sometimes he might be the cheapest by just £20 each but that's a cocktail of the day for a week! GoCruise is part of the Fred Olsen Group so is well backed. Favourites - Oriana and Aurora. Both are family ships but if you go in term time then it is quieter and wonderful. Good luck.

Try Fred Olsen. Most cruises depart from UK, Southampton, Dover and the Black Prince often cruises from Liverpool. Lots do do, even Bingo. Enjoy your cruise whoever you go with .

There are also Royal Caribbean with sails from Southampton, Their fleet is just a nice and nicer on the purse strings too. I have sailed several times with them.

As you can imagine this was not how I planned to see in the new year but as we all know these things happen and I am very grateful to have been very well looked after and now recovered.I was very well looked after by our amazing NHS, I know they ge...

Well I have finally got my money back for my Monarch flights! After the collapse in September last year, 5 months seems so long to wait for a refund. Its been a long wait and at one point I did wonder if I was going to get it back. The sad news last year left some holiday makers stranded overseas and out of pocket. The poor Monarch staff were left stunned and jobless.Monarch had been in trouble the year before and the high costs of fuel and stiff competition became too much for the busine...
