BLYTH - Answered a Question by Moss (10 Nov 08 09:52)

You could be lucky and get good weather with calm seas and a good bit of sunshine but the movement of the ship and the Atlantic breeze in itself might mean not a great amount of time sitting out sunbathing unless you can find a sheltered spot, but everyone will be looking for one of those. The Atlantic can be rough and we have crossed it with 70/90 foot waves and we are good sailors so no real problem but the restuarant and the bars tended to be a bit quieter on the 3 of the 6 days it was bad. You have to look at the hurricane situation with these around at that time of the year it can add to the fun, not that you will necessarily come directly come into contact with them but they will produce the heavy swells you don't want.
