How I would love just to say yes to this question but it is more complicated than that. Basically it depends who you are sailing with. Some companies now have a "Service Charge" as opposed to gratuities and these are normally mandatory. Others tell you that a tip is expected and how much that should be and still others say tips are not expected. So find out who you are cruising with the read the booking conditions and general information and there you will find out your answer. ....Neil.
