There is a huge debate on this - go into tips/gratuities in the search - many people have different opinions.

We have been on the sea princess twice and each time we opted out of tipping all you have to do is let the purser know and just tip those that you want to i realise that others miss out but no body else knows what you are doing it is your business also at the end of your cruise pass on all your unused toiletrees to a steward they are always very pleased and lovely.

NO You can go to the pursers desk and fill in a form which stops you from paying that way you can tip who you wish to hope this helps Trevor.
