I have to say that we've done 3 out of our 17 cruises with Celebrity and their disembarkation procedures and passenger handling is awful compared to their competitors. Well done to Royal Caribbean for managing to make this a painless exercise despite more passengers and more baggage. Princess have improved their disembarkation as well but Celebrity.... We found that their food is overated (with a couple of exceptions) and is easily matched by other cruise lines. Their speciality restaurants are however exceptional and well worth the extra charge. Whilst I couldn't/wouldn't do it there are some who dine there every night. Their Sushi and sandwich bars are also very good.

Hi If you were on the Summit so were we and it was awfull.I agree with all of your comment. On our return I wrote to Celebrity and after a few weeks got a reply which did not want to take ownership of there falling standards. We have since taken the H.A.L's Noordam which in comparison make the Summit seem like a cross channel ferry.

The plane only came ...
