We have been on both and just prefer msc not there is much in it, Would go again with both but there tend to be a lot of nationalities and children on board but generaly found them to be no better or worse than others it really depends on your taste.

I have cruised with several different lines Costa being one of them, I have to admit that I was on late dining and found the dining experience the best of all the cruise lines but the entertainment wasn't really my cup of tea. Fantastic ship as well.

Hi only been on msc. opera is a fantastic ship no complaints except the language is mostly european and so is the entertainment, english passengers are the minority, also been on the melody which is smaller, cannot complain as i only paid £10 for each cuis.

Maybe Italian but food certainly isn't, we were v. disappointed in c.classica, v. basic.

I have been on MSC & Costa and I think that Costa has better food. We were on Classica in March going from Dubai and thought the restaurant food excellent but we do not do self service meals on any ship. Anne West Moor.

I went on the Costa Europa two years ago for Christmas it was not the best but the cabins were very spacious and the food was good, a bit difficult to judge as the weather was not that great..overall rating 7.5 out of 1.

We currently live in England and are American. We went on the Cost Fortuna last Spring and were delighted. With 2 kids and a lot of questions(our first cruise) we found the trip quite relaxing. The ship is clean and in great shape. Try your Italian if you want to but most of the crew speak english as well as other languages. Joe jdaak @ btinternet.co.

Hi, cuised on the MSC Armonia last year. Superb ship spotlessly clean, good spacious cabins and friendly staff. The food was enjoyable although I have had better on other lines. English people are in the minority and the entertainment was geared for the Italians, but dispite these negative points the cruise was excellent and I would definately travel with MSC again.

My Getaway on Getaway

By Anne Eaves

I have just returned from an 8 night Baltic cruise on NCL Getaway. This was a first for me for the Baltic and on this ship. Having previously sailed on NCL Epic 5 times I was looking forward to trying a different ship and I wasnt disappointed. We had 2 days in Copenhagen prior to the cruise and stayed at the Admiral Hotel which is in Nyhavn. The hotel is situated on the river and is a great location close to the Amalienborg Palace. We had a lovely couple of days sightseeing and used the hop ...

Party Animal At My Age?

By Jill Johnson

My holiday on Celebrity Reflection… What was the entertainment like? Well there is of course the bars and lounges but this ship had something special…….Silent Disco – Now ive got to say i haven’t been to a disco since 1985, so I would imagine a lot has changed over the years and to my amazement we had the Silent Disco, actually the ship arranged two of them, one on the top sun deck and one in the Solarium, which was by day a tranquil place to snooze, swim or try ...
