Hi you can get to nice and to monte carlo by bus, I have only done the monte carlo by bus around 3 years ago, it was 3 euros return so you can assertain from that it is a cheap method of getting there, the bus goes from the centre of villefrance, we found it easily, I think you would struggle to do cannes on the same day, in saying that there is very little in cannes to see unless you like designer shopping.

Blimey is this a cruise or the Monte Carlo Rally?? Joking aside, Monaco is to the east & Nice is to the west with Cannes even further west. All can be done easily by bus or train for a few Euro's (train station, turn right as you leave the tender station) but quite honestly I would choose 1 only of your options, as it's difficult to do justice to more than that. Don't dismiss Villefranche itself as it's one of the best ports along that coast for drinking, people watching, drinkiing & drinking! Whatever you choose, enjoy! Wilba.

I'd stick with catching the bus to MC, and people watching there, and then back to Villefranche for a quayside glass of beer in the afternoon sun. You are pushing it trying to do MC and Nice and Cannes is just a no-no.

Very easy to DIY if you only go to this site that I direct every one to - Try google and 'cruise ports call boards' - the first result will give you all the info under the Europe section .

Like Ramshaw who commented on your recommendation regarding Valencia on 6th Oct I also am missing something here. I have tried this on Google and like Ramshaw all I get is the Island Cruises web site. I need a little more information on this one....Confused also.

Yep, I think I am with you, if you Google search the Web and not the pages from the UK as I always do for 'cruise ports call boards' a web site appears that has "Sub Forum Ports of Call" on it. Is this the correct one? I shall try it tomorrow, many thanks.

Copied from wilde,of poole excellent tips revue Villefranche + tender to shore once ashore its a fair hike up hill to catch the bus but if you walk out the terminal turn right enjoy a nice stroll along sea front you will come to train station. were you can go to Nice /Monaco Monte Carlo we chose Monaco cost 5 euro return and 3.80 Euro for over 60s !!, only a 18 minute train ride lots to do in Monaco and great shopping centre for the ladies !
