I have no idea what 'fanta w/c' means - but suggest you look at Brilliance of the Seas out of Barcelona. Beautiful ship.
Thabk you. what i ment to say was the n gem was fantastic-failities wise, the only thing abt brilliance of sea is that you need to dine at 2 times in the evening, from what i have read, is this true or are there options for eatting at any time.
No Brilliance you can do MyTime dining.
From Barcelona your options are Brilliance (10 nights), NCL Jade (9 nights) or Costa Marina. There is also Costa Serena from Savona or MSC Poesia and Fantasia from Genoa. I've been on Brilliance and loved it, and I'm booked on NCL Jade for January. Both ships will meet your needs in terms of accessibility - which you'll know about the Jade as it's virtually identical to the Gem. If you particularly want to go to the Canaries, Jade only visits Gran Canaria whereas Brilliance stops at Tenerife and Lanzarote. Jade stops Madeira. It's finely balanced. If you prefer set sittings for dinner, go for Brilliance, if you prefer 'Freestyle' go for Jade. Otherwise look at the price - given you need a particular type of cabin it may vary. There are some great prices around for both ships. But there is one agent in the UK doing amazing prices for Courtyard Villas on the Jade - around £1100pp. I don't think that can be beaten in terms of value for money!
The current cost for balcony on Brilliance for 16Jan is £861.65pp for 10n cruise (incl the tips!) and just to repeat you can do Mytime dining on Brilliance - eat anytime between 6 and 9.30p.
I assume you're not comparing a balcony on Brilliance with a Courtyard Villa! Equivalent balcony on Jade is £780 including tips, flights and a night Barcelona. But then it's one day shorter and I would expect NCL to be a bit cheaper then RCI on most types of itinerary.
I wasn't saying RCI don't do Mytime, but if that style of dining is an important factor I think NCL still give you more options and even greater flexibility than RCI.
