You also got your cabin number mixed up as well, 'cos there is no C2211. You're either in C221 or C211. In either case your near the front of the ship & a short walk to the lifts/stairs & a fair walk to the back of the ship for dining. Go to Princess website ships/deck plans & see for yourself. Please don't worry about noise as this appears to be the question of the month on all cruise ships. Think like you would in a top hotel. Regards.

It will be fabulous wherever you are - it's just somewhere to sleep and get ready for the terrific time you're going to have - we love Princess and have never had a bad cruise with them,.

We have booked for june 09 on the Grand and have had to take cabin 242 which is at the front as therewas nothing else port side left. My worry is that as I felt icky dick on the sea princess going down through the bay this year and we were in the middle , will it be worse at the front.

Not a bit - I have never felt a thing on any of the Princess's and unless we can get a balcony when we book, we go inside and low, because I think it's a bit of a waste if I haven't got a balcony, to go high. I have never felt movement or claustrophic, just always had a great time with all the facilities and the service, which is just as good no matter where you go. Just an aside (which isn't meant as a show off) we were on a cruise and upgraded to the Owners Suite - which was at the front, above the place where they control the ship - and if that's where they put the 'driver'it must be okay - they can't risk him being sick can they!. Our next cruise will be our 17+, and we never get tired of it. enjoy your holiday!!

We have just returned from a cruise on the Grand Princess. We were on Caribe but in C725 so at the back and handy for the dining room and buffet. If you are worried about sea sickness buy Stugeron tablets from the chemist before you go and take as instructed.Have a great time it's a fabulous ship. We've been on her twice and would be happy to go again.

Off to Rockley

By Gemma Coles

Well it is finally time for my holiday. I am off to Poole in Dorset tomorrow to stop at Rockley Park for 11 days. I am really looking forward to a break and spending some time with my husband. We have had a busy year so far and as I am heavily pregnant with our first baby due in August we haven’t been away at all yet this year. It has been so hot the last few days with the heatwave we had and now the weather is turning and the forecast isn’t great for our time away. I wouldn&...

As you may know I’ve just returned from a week on board Navigator of the Seas, we sailed from Southampton to Spain, Portugal and France and the cruise was during the school holidays. We had a really fantastic time, and my little girl really loved the ship….which little girl wouldn’t? All in all we had a great cruise and I would without question sail with Royal Caribbean again perhaps next time we’d like to try one of the newer bigger ships. This cruise was our first as...

I live about 10 miles from Manchester and recently took a cruise from Liverpool with Fred Olsen on the Boudicca. This summer the Boudicca will sail out of Liverpool right through to October! The range of destinations is fantastic! There is a British Isles cruise, 7 night Norwegian Fjords, a longer cruise over to Canada, you can travel south to France and th...
