If Gem is tendered in Sorrento then the town is on the hillside right above. Healthy walk up stairs. Pisa is inland = you need to catch a train from Livorno. If you are tenderd in Nice you are right in port = but are you not in Villefranche? Checkout website in signoff and look at the ports of call section for lots of useful info.

Just to follow on, no need for the healthy walk at Sorrento, buy a 1 euro bus ticket from the shop in front of the ferry/tender station & hop on the yellow bus to get to the top.
