Hi we have booked on princess,s Grand Princess and opted for anytime dining,as we didi not wish to be tied to specific times.we have never cruised before, and we are off round the med on the 23rd of this month so i will post a review(hopefully a good one) as soon as i get back and will mention anytime dining.hope this is of some help.
With NCL we enjoyed the Freestyle dining and not having to dress up for meals. Would love a comparison to this on other lines offering similar particularly Grand Princess. On a hot/warm evening we just do not want to dress formally. Look forward to your review and hope it helps us plan our next "informal/freestyle cruise". Thanks.
NCL, Princess, RCI currently trialling it on 6 ships (Brilliance of the Seas,
Freedom of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas, Jewel of the Seas, Radiance of the Seas, Independence of the Seas,) Seabourn, SilverSeas and Azamara to kick off a few names..
We are going on the ventura and i know she has any time dinning and also the oceana also has this ,.
Princess do it. Quite successfully so I hear.
From a 'Fixed dining person'!
RCI just extended their mytime dining trial to next year - same 6 ships as listed below and also on OASIS now too.
You either book your cruise for fixed time dining OR anytime. If you want a cruise line that not only is fully anytime dining but also DOES NOT take money off you for 'service charge' (£10 pppd on many lines)or charges 15% service on all drinks etc. and Includes all tips in the price - try Ocean Village cruises.
