I doubt you will find the tempertures in this part of the Atlantic much different perhaps marginally warmer but a friend did this area last December and the had a few rough days. He said Lisbon was cool with temps 47/58 degrees min/max but warmer in Funchal with temps 60/65 degress min/max On the Atlantic trip he said temps dropped to 46 degress and they had a lot of heavy rain storms but when arriving in the Caribbean and Barbados he said temp were 76/84 min/max I did four years ago leave Southamption to go to Lisbon and fairly wet and choppy so be prepared. I looked at the website which shows last years weather pattern and it confims the conditions he met.

I have cruised there and back on P & O. 3 days out of Southampton and we were in the sun all the way to the caribbean with hardly any swell or waves to disturb our cruise. Same coming back. You can just never tell but it should be nice and warm!
