Went on the same cruise in Feb this year. The anytime dining is great but try to avoid around 7pm usually very busy and you may have to wait, if this is the case the head waiter gives you a bleeper so you can go off for a drink or just wait in the lounge and when a table is free they just bleep you , fantastic idea. You can also pre book a time to eat. Every night you will be eating with differant people from all all parts of the world, wonderful conversation. The cruise is fantastic you will have a great time.

We were on 'anytime' and rang to prebook a time as stated in the blurb in the cabin. However we were just told to turn up as there were only 2 of us. Being an unsociable pair we like to dine alone rather than with different people every day and we went in about 6.30 each evening with no problem. Once we did have to have a bleeper and that was because it was about 7.30 that we tried to get in for a table for 2. If we had been willing to join a big table we wouldn't have had any need.

Costa Concordia Dismantlin...

La Spezia ? where.

By Nicola Milligan

Mediterranean cruises are calling into several ports depending on the size of the cruise ship. So Livorno is commonly know as the port to visit Florence and Pisa. This is a big industrial port so if you have been to both of those cities before not a lot for you to do.We are now finding some ships are calling into La Spezia as an alternative. However the journey can take over two hours each way, so what else is there to do in this area of Italy.I have been recommended by a regular customer a m...

Cuba

By Steve Fuller

I visited Cuba recently and had an amazing experience. The people, the way of life and culture. I learned a lot of it’s history, more than just what I would have learned at school. It was very interesting to see at first hand what life is like there.Being on an escorted tour I was able to see the real Cuba. Not just a few nights in Havana and then spending the rest of our time on a beach. I visited Cuba in-land, I saw the farms, the tobacco and coffee plants and just how the real people...
