I echo Mr Buckley - I think you would be severely disappointed if you went with P&O following Indie. Just go and read the Ventura reviews to give yourself a taste of what it is like....why not try the slightly smaller Navigator or Voyager that are cruising in the Med?

If it ain't Broke don't fix it? I would stay with RCI in our opinion they are better than P&O but if you must change Oceana gets some good reviews,Ventura is still getting mixed reviews,You could try RCI From Harwich and go to the Baltic's or North cape they have plenty of ships sailing from Europe if you fancy flying Best of Luck?

Royal Caribbean ALL THE WAY , P and O are not in the same league when it comes to facilities. What does the Ventura have which the Independence does not have - a scalextric track (which was a joke to be blunt). Were as Royal Caribbean has a gr8 kids and teens club, Rock climbing wall, H20 Zone (water park) Flow Rider, Royal Promenade the list is endless.

Royal Caribbean is def the best cruiseline in our view. Why not try on of the smaller ships, saves a lot of walking! Also why not the Jewel out of Harwich for the Scandinavia and Russia trip, we had a great time on that.

Hi - Thank you all for the replies. You've all said exactly how l feel. It possibly would be a hard match to follow. I think we'll stick to RCI for the time being at least we know what to expect!! Thanks again .

We started our cruising with RCI last year. We ahd two cruises that were enjoyable. Like you we thought of trying P and O. We did and went on Artemis to then Fjords. The trip (scenary) was superb, but the ship and things, such as room service, choice and qquality of food did not compare with RCI. We are migrating back aand have booked with RCI next year.

I agree with all the other reviews, although I would also say Princess would be a good choice. I have been on P & O once(never again) and it is no where near as good. Have you noticed all the people who love P & O have never tried anything else!!

A mini cruise to remember..

By Ruby Perkins

I’ve just come back form a cheeky three night mini cruise with the girls so I thought I would give you a sneaky peak at some of our best bits.We were a large party of twelve with a mixture of friends, some who had met through www.CRUISE.co.uk. Some of us are still here but others had moved on to pastures new, so it’s always nice to catch up with everybody to see what people have been up to and what’s new in their lives. Not everybody knew each other which was also nice as we all...

I was recently lucky enough to spend 3 nights on board the beautiful Royal Princess sailing from Southampton to Dublin, and being a over of the recent hit cruise programme ‘The Cruise ‘ I had an idea on what to expect but actually sailing onboard her was a million times better!Once you board the main centre point of the ship is the piazza, which constantly has a buzz surrounding it, from line dancing, speed painting, fruit carving plus more during the day you also have various bar...
