If your flying Lufthansa, & by the sound of it you are, then it's more than likely.

Yes, there is no such thing as a direct flight from BHX to BCN. If you book your flights through the cruise company they can route you whichever way they want. It clearly states this in the T&CS. You are flying BHX -MUN and then on to BCN and on the way back you fly via FFT. Yes you change planes in both directions. One good reason why I never book flights with the cruise company .

A of N, You CAN book direct from BHX to BCN on BMI Baby, done it, bought the T shirt recently. Weekend flght times are good, with early departures & mid afternoon returns. Week days have early departures but only one return flight about 2230 hrs arriving BHX about 00.30 hrs next morning. These flights are still current throughout the year & like you, for these reasons, I never book flights through a cruise company. Regards Wilba.

Wilba - I stand corrected!! Being a Southerner the 'north' is mystery to me!!!! RCI tend to mainly use scheduled carriers - if they do use budget they must have sold out for that day. Anyway, the lesson learnt is do not buy flights through the cruise company! When is your next cruise???

Next 'booked' is May 09 Legend Singapore to Dubai with Emirates out of BHX. Still looking, but with a plan in mind, for late this year! Regards.

No when your 'onward transit' your luggage is transfered on to the next flight, so grab a meal/drink or whatever & move on to your next departure lounge.

MSC offers a new school along ...

By Adrian Partridge

MSC Cruises, they just get better and better in my opinion. Last month I wrote about getting on a ship and helping the Caribbean by going there and spending some money. MSC have done a lot more than that with their latest offer of a school for the children.Along with the government of the British Virgin Islands MSC have dedicated a new, building that will serve as a school in Virgin Gorda. All 15 schools were destroyed in the British Virgin Islands during the recent hurricanes, the new pre-fa...

What really happens below deck...

When I go on a cruise I am always blown away by the amazing service I receive & how incredibly hard the staff work. They are working extremely long hours (up to 100 a week is not unheard of), but always have a smile on their faces and are turned out impeccably. Our lovely hard-working waiters on Splendour of the SeasSo what happens when they do get a little downtime? One thing is for sure there are lots of opportunities to party below the passenger decks in the crew bar. It’s always ...

Yes that’s me !!!You may of read on one of my recent blogs I have booked to take my family to London for the Winter wonderland and its this weekend we go.The advise I would give to anyone visiting a city would be to get organised before they go, well that is everyone but myself.
