I suggest a cruise on P & O,s Arcadia. I am sure that she is a ship which would suit your parents. We have just returned home after acruise to the Norwegian Fjords on Arcadia; it was in fact our second cruise on her. She is a large ship - 83.000 tons. There were a larger number of wheel chair and imppaired mobility passengers. The crew are very helpful to passengers with a mobility problem. Arcadia sails from Southampton which has an airport with flights to southern Ireland.
I have been on both P&O's Aurora and Oriana, and see many passengers with moblility problems, and I can confirm that as on Arcadia, the staff are excellent in looking after those people.
Hi, we have just come of the sea princess and one of the ladies at our dinner table will be 80 years old next month she used a walking aid and had a calliper on one of her legs and was cruising on her own the staff were fantastic with her the other people i saw onboard had battery powered scooters and with all the floors serviced by lifs it is really disabled freindly .
