We have just returned from Grand Princess and we had a safe but we had a balcony cabin. I don't think it makes a difference which cabin you have though. I think they all have safes. Enjoy your cruise!! We had a great time.

We have cruised with Princess on three occasions and each time have opted for Anytime Dining. If you are willing to share a table (and this is a good way to meet people), it would be very unusual for you to have to wait to be seated. On occasions, when we have requested a table for two, we have had to wait, but no more than 10 minutes. They give you a pager, so you can go for a pre-dinner drink in one of the bars and relax!! I am certain that Mr/Mrs Terry is correct, all cabins have a safe. Once you get on board, you will wonder what you were worried about - we were the same on our first cruise. Just relax and enjoy!! Regards Jean Whittle.

Forgot to mention that you get the same menu in the Anytime Dining restaurant as you do for fixed time dining. The same dress code is also adhered to, ie formal, semi-formal, etc. Hope this helps.

Hi again, we weren't first time cruisers but this was our first Princess Cruise. We have cruised Ocean Village before and enjoyed both. I think you will love Princess. There is plenty going on for you to meet new people. We went for anytime dining and ate most of our meals in Horizon Court. Found this to be good quality. We ate twice in the Steak House too. Very good food and service here. We will be cruising OV next year and Princess the year after. Our first cruise was supposed to be a one off and now we're booking our 4th!! I'm sure you'll get the bug...

The latest technology available in the near v=future on Royal Caribbean is facial recognition. the latest technology is already functioning on Allure of the seas and oasis of the seas and will be found on 13% of the fleet. So what does this mean?It means passengers can now check in really quickly thanks to their pre loaded photo, open their cabin doors without a keycard and a luggage tracker will monitor their bags and send them an alert once the luggage has arrived to the cabin. Is this a ste...
