You can on MSC Rhapsody outside on deck and also inside and outside of the entertainment bar. You can also smoke in designated areas on Island Star.

Hi ya you can smoke in desigated areas on island escape as well as island star these are good ships if you want to just chill out no set dinning times do as you want when you want .

Depends which ship you go on, most allow smoking on outside decks only but some allow it in designated inside areas but there is quite a lively debate at the moment on here- see cruise news- re smoking. Princess cruises allow smoking in staterooms and certain areas inside, Thomson -no smoking inside at all- only on outside decks, P&O in process of changing policy to allow smoking only in balcony staterooms- nowhere inside ship. Be sure you read the cruiselines policy on smoking before you book.
