Absolutely. We've been haggling with the travel agents for the last couple of weeks and went to book a P&O cruise yesterday for next year only to find the price had increased due to a fuel surcharge being slapped on of £100 per person. Damn! We then went back to the travel agent who gave us the next best price and they didn't add the fuel surcharge on! Best advice I can give is to shop around and be quick (well quicker than us anyway!).

Yes lots of cruise lines now adding a surcharge to new bookings, and looking at next year prices they have raised prices by a good amount maybe to cover increases in food and fuel prices.

There was always something going on, be that Ballroom dancing or learning the tango (I didn’t do any of this for th...

Adonia back with P&O

By Gemma Coles

Gemma Coles's blog

It doesn’t seem that long ago when we said goodbye to the P&O Adonia. P&O Adonia left the fleet in 2015 with much sadness to lots of passengers. The ship went to Fathom Cruises which is a line dedicated to volunteer tourism. Guests were taken to locations such as the Dominican Republic to help teach English or build water filtration systems to help with poorer countries. Carnival Group have now announced that after an upgrade to the ship, with the addition of a new rest...
