It is a very ,very ,very old ship and we went on it 7 years ago! Suprised it is still going! Very shabby, but crew and the food are FABULOUS! Many folk think this ship is FAB. Dont knock it till you try it! You may be pleasantly suprised.

It is a very old ship but it has a lot of character unlike some of the newer gin palaces. It has a very loyal following. What it lacks in facilities is compensated by good food and a most obliging staff. Being small it can berth in ports which are inaccessible to larger ships. I have enjoyed several cruises on this ship.

It was built in 1966 as a ferry and at 11 thousand tons it is very small and with few facilities. I suggest you use the Berlitz overview of the ship, available for nothing, on this very site. It is comprehensive and independant. If you have good sea legs, are elderley British, it may suit.

I took him to an amazing restaurant for his 40th (see below!).I am a little bit of a food snob, but that all changed when I experienced Johnny Rocke...

Sailing like a Celebrity Part ...

As I was only on board for two nights we did not bother with any speciality dining on this occasion so we ate in the main dining room which was amazing. We had opted for Celebrity Select Dining which means we could choose when we wanted to go for dinner and could just turn up or you can pre-book a time on your planner. We pre-booked 6.45pm on both nights. On arrival at the dining room entrance we were escorted to a table towards the back of the restaurant and were immediately greeted by two l...

By Camilla Edwards

Watching the Royal wedding this weekend, and looking at the lovely outfits, I started to think about what I am going to pack for my Azamara cruise next week. Packing for that was easy, just take everything you want as there i...
