What is it with you people,Ilkley my 16 year old son is no longer at school and my other child has an attendance record of a 100%. Also the school will supply extra work for my child to do on this cruise.I think i should stop worrying about the entertainment, and be more concerned about meeting people like ilkley for this would surely spoil our holiday, and yes my wife and i prefer a more peaceful holiday too. So we hope we do not meet any people like MACRO % ILKLEY who only want to moan about my child having time off school. If you are going on this cruise (ilkey or macro) let me no and i will cancel, as i could not stand to listen to you to whinge & whinge.

This is not the length of cruise (or time of year?) that people usually take their children on as they are required to attend school. That is why your 16 yr old will be bored as with few kids of that age scheduled to be on board, the cruise company do not provide much. That age group is also notorious for needing their peers in order to have a good time !

Macro of reading,we always take our holidays in November and this is with the schools permission. As for my 16 year old son he was not bored because of the lack of children his age.It was due to the poor facilities and entertainment on board OV2. I just want to say thank you to macro for your feedback on the cruise to Brasil you were most helpful !

Sorry but I agree with Macro, the ships tend to entertain the kids during school holidays, that's why people with no kids tend to take their holidays outside of the school holidays. More peaceful. Also I'm rather surprised that your 2 schools have given permission for 20 days leave, I thought schools were clamping down on this unless of course there is a half term in November to make it up to 20 days.
