I think it would help if you said when you are going as it will make the answer easier and more accurate. I also hope that you are not going through Norway because that could be very bumpy ... sorry ...Nei.

Yes you will find that the weather and the conditions at sea will be very similar to British summer conditions provided you do not get a gale and the sea conditions in the Fjords will be pancake flat. Never been on or intend to go on Costa so can't help with the rest. The main difference is that it stays light almost throughout the night ...regards Nei.

You can buy a wine and water package through the costa site or buy an X1 package which includes bottled water, fizzy juice red and white wine during meal times in main resturant and all buffet resturants when meals are being served. you receive 2 drinks per card. this has to be bought through your travel agent and paid befor you travel. for 11 nights in feb 08 it cost £83 per card. we only bought one card. hope this helps.

By Abbi Varela

….and what a fantastic day it was too, such a sense of achievement. As you probably guessed I took part last weekend in the We Love Manchester 10k run, along with my sister and friend. It was a really great day and the atmosphere was the best it has ever been.I can’t say the run was easy, in fact far from it! I was praying for cloud or even rain on the morning, running in the sun is so much harder. As we set off at 930 it was almost as if someone switched on the sun!! …it wa...

Queen Mary 2 or Queen Victoria?I have worked on both and have been lucky enough, in my role on both these ships, to have the freedom to use the public areas. I love what Cunard are all about, the elegance, sophistication, and choice of entertainment on board.Although the modern world does exist on the ships with Wi-Fi as a service that you can benefit from, for an extra charge. The Planetarium (only one at sea) on Queen Mary 2. Connexions where you can take a lesson on how to improve your sil...
