cunane - Answered a Question by morris (12 May 08 16:05)

Have just come back from my second trip on Q vic.. yes as MR/Ms Middelton has said those are the only areas not open to you but the rest of the ship is.. however do go up and have a look around the grills area (out side of meal times ) no one will chase you ! in fact they are more than happy to show you around .. you never know you might be tempted to try it one day ! I did, as I was ready to spoil my self.. It's the best Grills area on Cunard... Don' worry about the britannia yes there have been a few teething problems but by August it should have improved.. if you are not happy with your table do somthing right away don't wait a few days as some one will have got there before you.. I know this is not an answere to your question but I'm very loyal to Cunard however; somtimes they need a bit of a shake up..One travels Cunard for it's Britishness and I have noticed a bit of American service style creeping into the delivery of the product... If they give you a tea bag and a cup of water after dinner Demand it in a tea pot the same goes for afternoon tea in the Queens room if you like Earl grey don't accept the tea bag ask them to put it into a po.

Two nights on Indy..

Last week I spent two nights on the newly revamped Independence of the Seas.We sailed from Southampton in glorious sunshine to Le Havre and back. This was my third time on board this ever-popular ship and I was keen to see the changes to her after a big refit. We had a balcony cabin on deck 9 which had everything we needed for a comfortable break. I’m not generally a fan of mini-cruises. They offer an excellent way for someone like myself to see the ships but I do not think they are a g...
