Try P&O on Arcadia the main restaurant has what could be called English food Roast beef/lamb/liver ect there are other choices and they do some nice curry's but they also have a choice of veg. It is what you would expect from an English hotel lunch and breakfast are the same?

I am not sure what "rich food tat" is but I would suggest that you try P & O as they seem to serve the blandest food that I have tried or dare I suggest that you try to educate your palate a little. I feel a controversy coming on .....Nei.

We cruise with Princess and they also have steak, chicken and salmon on the evening menu every evening and have also done someone on our table egg and chips or an omelette one evening. I am sure you will be ok, we have sailed with P & O and some of their meals have been very plain.

Thanks for the rapid responses - P&O sounds like a safe bet. Of course "tat" is that well known typo for "that". So the question should read "..... not the rich food that is served up .....". I posed the question because we both suffer from IBS and my wife also has food allergies. So, unfortunately, educating our palates is not an option.

Nice to hear that you enjoy the dressing up for dinner. Sadly, this part of cruising appears to be going down the drain. Don't worry about about the food, My aunt had us in hysterics one evening, when she didn't fancy the menu and asked for egg & chips, she got it!!

Anyone who is a fan of P&O cruises will recall the Adonia, the smallest ship in the fleet, left the company last year and was relocated to Miami to embark on a new venture fathom. There has now been a u-turn on this and Carnival Corporation has decided to return the ship to P&O. Adonia will be sailing from the UK again from June 2017 after she has had some upgrades including O...
