Neil and Ida Down - Answered a Question by bishop (22 Apr 08 16:11)

Hi everyone Yes we have been cruising and meeting some great people. Although I must admit that the world’s weather is not as reliable as it could have been, someone been playing with the switches again? I have noticed that this board is not as controversial as usual but it does seem to be as informative. See if we can uphold the latter and upgrade the former. Can’t really say it’s nice to be back We’d sooner be cruisin’ Hey ho……regards…..Neil and Ida ps Off again soon....hoora.

Thomson Cruises have made some changes in recent years and things are really working for them, in the last 5 years they have seen an increase in passenger numbers of 40%, with 20% being in the last year alone. They have always been looked down upon by a lot of customers, although unjustly so as their reviews have always been good. But with older ships and less of the pomp and ceremony of other lines they have been viewed as being at the lower end of the market. In 2016, they made a major ...
