When you check out of a hotel do you leave your luggage behind in the wardrobe? Someone else will be in that room when you are in NYC, so the answer is no.

Thanks for that, I know the boat is going on another trip, I meant ,were we able to put it in storage of some sort, won't be needing the dress up togs for staying in New York,and think it will be easier than lugging all the kit with. any ideas, thank.

Why not try nycruise,com this is a website for both the Manhattan and brooklyn Cruise Terminals. Whilst the site doesnt mention anything about left luggage facilities, there is a Contact us section that you could find out if there are secure facilities at the prort. failing that, i'd suggest you contact the cruise line that you are booked wit.
