Yes.I cruised on Legend of the seas, and you would have needed traffic lights for the wheelchairs! Everybody enjoyed themselves. GO AHEAD.

Neil and Ida Down - Answered a Question by cook (25 Nov 07 20:51)

The answer is generally yes, disability takes so many forms it is fairly difficult to certain about everything but I have found that most cruise ships are aware of most of the needs of disabled people and even extreme cases are surprisingly well catered to. This may be because American thinking is well in front of most other countries with the possible exception of Sweden. If you think you might have a problem them tell them and I'm sure that you will have as good a holiday as anyone on board. On my last cruise there was a group of audibly challenged cruisers and they were having a better time than me and that took some doing I can tell you....Go for it....regards Nei.

Hulstrom - Answered a Question by cook (26 Nov 07 19:45)

The answer to your question is most definitely YES. I was in a party of 6 on a cruise around the Western Med in July/August and as the designated carer for my disabled wheelchair bound brother, we found the ship - Thomson Celebration - very disabled friendly. The Celebration have 4 cabins designated on deck 7 for disabled passengers right under the bridge, so the views from the cabin windows were fantastic. My brother thoroughly enjoyed himself onboard the cruise ship, so much, that he only went ashore once and that was in Barcelona. I say GO FOR IT, you won't regret it.

Are you a Cunard fan then this maybe for you, the old Queen Elizabeth has been transformed into a floating hotel and Museum in Dubai? Its great news to see this famous ship been transformed back to her former glory, as she had just been sitting in Dubai since 2008 and had been left to rot in the Dubai heat, she was meant to be turned into a 500 hotel but this fell through due to lack of money, before a company in 2017 stepped in the save this historic vessel,The Ship is steeped in history and ...

Haydn Jones's blog

This Easter half term has been a particularly adventurous one, for one particular member of The Jones household this week, my 14 year old son! The week flew by for him, although not so much for my wife who became his twitter stalker! He visited San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, Death Valley (as shown in the pic), Las Vegas, The Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and Los Angeles….yes ...
