I don't smoke but what i intend to do as i too like to rise early is can you think of anything more pleasurable than sipping coffee/tea in the early morning on your own private space of your balcony with the sea breeze and a view of a mediterranean town? thats how i intend to start my mornings.

You have two main options/ One is to order a pot of tea to be delivered to your cabin at 6am and have it with a smoke on the balcony whilst enjoying the scenery or a good book. Two, most ships have tea and coffee available in the cafeterias at all times although to smoke you would have to go out to the rear decks or the pool deck. There is a further option which I won't mention because many readers consider it infra-dig to suggest that you give up smoking so I won't mention that....Falan Down.

The Horizon Court is 24hours so you can have as many cuppas as you want then walk out side and there are plenty of tables for you to enjoy your drink with a smoke and you can get a top up outside too... you will find others like you out there as some trips have very early starts... enjoy your holiday, we are back on the Sea Princess in June 08.

Someone on this site said that on the sea princess you can smoke on one side of the deck so why dont you grab a cuppa and sit on the deck on the side you can smoke, enjoy the scenery, tea and your cigarette in peace, you will probably find like minded people doing the very same as you so you may even have a good chat aswell! enjoy.

Horizon Court (the buffet restaurant) is open 24/7. I often get up early and go up for a plate of fruit and coffee which I take down to the cabin. Alternatively, you can call room service (free - but a tip of $1-2 is recommended.

Yesterday we saw the launch of Thomson 2018 summer sailings go on sale, I must admit they have some fantastic itineraries. I think this is really exciting news for Thomson.More great news is the The TUI Discovery will also sail from Newcastle from May 2018 , she has some lovely itineraries round the Baltic and Norway. The fact that the ship sails from the North means you wil...

On our recent transatlantic cruise onboard P&O Britannia we had 4 ports of call during our 13 night itinerary, and I thought I would let you know a little bit more about the ports we visited and what we got upto. Our little boy loves trains so we opted...
