Yes it's "doable". First find yourself part of a world cruise, then wait as long as you can before booking, you now stand a chance of either sharing a cabin or finding a single at a reduced price. It is not necessarily so that you can take as much luggage as you like , there are limits set by various cruise lines but whether they inforce them is a different matter. World cruises generally start in January. An alternative is to find a passage on a cargo ship and either pay or work your passage on that. Ida Dow.

Saga do a world cruise starting each year in January on their two ships Saga Rose and Saga Ruby.
