Been on Destiny earlier this year (and a couple of times as Sunbird). We have never found a laundrette, don't think there is one. We wash smalls in the cabin.

Hi there - we're just back from 2 weeks on the Destiny last Thursday. There are no laundry facilities on board to do your own laundry, except for the basin in the bathroom. The cabin steward will get it done for you, but it can be quite expensive. There is a small line in the shower, so if you wash a few things each night, they'll be dry by the next day, but for anything larger than underwear, it may take a couple of days hanging on one of the rails in the wardrobe! Apart from that, we had a great time! All the staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you. You'll love it.

There is none to do for yourself. You have to pay for them to do it.

Costa Concordia 5 Years On

By Gemma Coles

Gemma Coles's blog

I am sure most people will remember hearing the news when the Costa Concordia sank. This January we are 5 years on from this tragedy. The ship hit an underwater rock and then capsized near Tuscany. The ship had been carrying 4252 people and unfortunately 32 people drowned when the ship sank. I can remember it clearly seeing videos and images on the tragedy. I can’t imagine how these people felt being in this position. The captain of the ship was sentenced to 16 years in prison for...

P&O offer some fantastic islands and resorts in the Caribbean and have done for a number of years now. Returning to the same destinations doesnt seem to bother regular and repeat P&O customers because lets face it, when you are only in the ports for 1 day there is always something new to see or visiting your favorite beach may be something you really enjoy.Have you ever repeated an itinerary because you have enjoyed it so much?I have visited Cuba, Jamaica and Dominican Republic more t...
