Try Residensea or The World - two ships where you buy apartments and cruise the whole time.

Neil Down - Answered a Question by price (28 Aug 07 15:40)

There has been a lovely lady living on QE2 for many years, when the ship goes in for repairs etc. I understand they put her up in Claridges. Where she will go when QE2 is sold I'm not sure but I am sure that QM2 and QV would be open to offers. The World and Residensea have vacancies but you seldom see your fellow passengers on them as they seem to prefer to keep to their own suites and dine in them as well. It might be interesting to proposition all the other cruise lines and see what the response would be ....See if "the Price is right" Regards, Neil Dow.

The lady on the QE2 lived there for ten years, her husband died whilst onboard and she sold her home to pay to stay on the ship. She has now left the boat although she may rejoin at any point. I believe she negotiated a cruise on cruise price with the pursers office.
