We cruised on Athena in May 2006 out of Harwich. At that time she was on loan to Travelscope. We had a comfortable cabin up on 6 and the ship was very comfortable as a whole. The food was good and the staff were attentive. The entertainment was excellent - the theatre was comfotable. The dance floors were a little dangerous as they are of marble and could pose a problem in rough weather. We went on Athena to the Baltic, the tours were excellent and there was no pressure at all. The cruise dirrector and his staff were superb. The only complaint was that upon return to Harwich disenbarkation was prtracted and our luggage was treated in a cavalier fashion ( dumped in a puddle in pouring rain which certainly caused a problem when the dye from a leather suit carrier leaked into my husbands tuxedo!) Over all a good cruise and good value. The bathrooms were the best that we have ever encountered at sea.

Sailed on Athena Septemberr last year. She is a nice traditional ship, comfortable cabins, good food, and bar prices very reasonable and I would have no hesitation sailing on her again.
