Went on Navigator of the Seas to Med last month and you can smoke in all bars, the casino and promenade. You can't smoke in the cabins or restaurants.

Yes but smoking policies vary depending on the cruise line and even within the same cruise line. For example a ship more have smoking areas when in Europe than when in American waters. Most restaurants are now non smoking as are some bars. Ships will have some designated smoking areas. best decide on what cruise and company most appeals and then check with them what their policy is before you boo.

If you mean on board ship then the answer is yes and when you get aboard you will be advised where. Rules are changing almost weekly as Cruise Lines push the boundaries of where they can stop smoking without putting the diminishing amount of smokers off completely. Certainly a lesson was learned when a major fire occurred on one cruise ship which started in a cabin from a cigarette and many cruise lines now ban smoking in cabins. Maybe the question you should have asked is “Should I smoke?”….Neil Dow.
