The be place is in my country up north like Tromso or Kirkenes vadso or alta. If you really enjoy crusing then I suggest the best month to se it are in january during the dark period when you dont have the sun. February and march also but then its stop. I suggest to you to look at this page www.hurtigruten.com they have fantastic sailings starts every day from Bergen up to Kirkenes with the russian border and then back again or you can just take one way and fly back from Kirkenes. This is the best places to se the Norther Light in Norway. Caroline/Oslo.
