Thomson Destiny, Thomson Emerald,Thomson Spirit. If you have missed the free all inclusive upgrade then Thomsons charge £149pp. We have been on Thomson cruises 6 times all different ships, and always gone all inclusive. Its wonderful not to have a nasty bill at the end of your holiday and all types of drinks are included, all spirits, selected cocktails. It also makes for a friendlier ship as no one is going to get stuck standing a round at the bar and as 4 ladies travelling together we aren't seen as a threat financially at the bar! Jusat tried to book Island cruises (simply just for a chnage to Thomsons) sailing Sept 18th this year, but its too late to get their all inclusive deal, therefore we are waiting for a last minute Thomson deal. Just wish there was more choice of all inclusive ships out there, definitely the way to cruise!

Some travel agents have these special groups where you can buy the package or some of the cruise lines to encourage you to book early have these packages that they give away, I know that Island have one at the moment. Otherwise see if you can purchase onboard - we have purchased the wine package several times.

I know Thomson Destiny does one, because we're going on 30th August for 2 weeks and we got it when we booked - free upgrade to all-inclusive! Mind you, we booked May 2006! I'm sure most of the cruise ships do this.

Thompson Destiny, we were offered it when we got a late booking 5 days before departure, but we had to pay £149 each for the week, if you are big drinkers its worth it, if not the prices are reasonable.

Five Of My Favourites !

By Camilla Edwards

Well its very nearly Christmas and all I wish for now is some snow! Walking the dog this morning everywhere was frosty and white, made me really feel in the festive spirit. One of the best things personally at this time of the year is the food and celebrations associated with Christmas and New Year, so this week I have decided to blog about 5 of my favourite places to eat. Some on cruise ships, some not.Fed Olsen Balmoral. I always enjoy the food on Fred`s ships and Balmoral last year was no...

My final update on my recent trip on Independance of the seas is all about my dining experience.I can honestly say I was not disappointed with one meal I had.You can literally eat 24 hours a day. The group was on second sitting which was 8.30 in the main dining room The Romeo and Juliet. The choice in there was great something for everyone and the staff were very attentive and gave us their recommendations at every meal. Also in here you can have A la Carte Breakfast from 7.30am to 9.30am an...

Calling all Small Ship Lovers.

By Nicola Milligan

Nicola Milligan's blog

Cast your mind back to 2015. and the sad news when P & O told us that the much loved 710 passenger adult only ship ADONIA was leaving their fleet.Lots of the small ship lovers were devastated as so many huge new ships were coming onto the market leaving a vast hole for the smaller more intimate ships. We were told she was joining Fathom Cruises a line that enables guests to do something good to help out poorer countries. So Volunteers through tourism can help locals learn English and build...
