Has anyone experienced an inside stateroom overlooking the Atrium on Queen Mary 2? Is it any better than an ordinary inside stateroom?

We travelled around Britain for the fifth anniversary cruise. We were upgraded to an atrium cabin. Is it better than an ordinary inside stateroom? It wasn't larger. If you want privacy the blinds need to be down permanently. There is a certain amount of noise from the atrium - the bell rung by passers by and the piano is played of an evening. The piped music plays during the day. There is no real view of the atrium. The cabin is light from the artificial light outside and 24 hours a day. Conclusion. Unless you particularly want its position at a price you are happy with then an inside cabin is very similar and may be cheaper. We hope this helps.
