Q: My husband and I are going on the Pacific Princess Sept around the Black Sea and stopping at Istabul. Does anybody know of a good tourist guide who will take us to the Blue Mosque only and missing out the Grand Bazaar 2 answers

Agreed. Public transport or a taxi ride - take a map, to point out the mosque to a taxi driver, & to point out the ship\'s berth to your return driver, they use different names for the places. Haga Sofia is a very short walk from Blue Mosque, so is the Roman Cistern, Topkapi Palace is also walkable from the same area. But you\'ll need local currency. ................ Grand Bazaar (vaguely on the way to Blue Mosque) is fun, nothing to be concerned about. And if you\'ve time in hand, a ferry up the Golden Horn for a stop or two is interesting. ..........Chris

If you only want to go to the Blue Mosque, you certainly won't need a guide (and I don't think a guide is needed at all in Istanbul). It won't take you long to walk round inside, as it's basically one large space. You can go into the city centre by ship's shuttle or tram and all of the landmarks, including Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Cisterns are within walking distance. You can obtain audio guides in Topkapi palace.
