The buffet in the evening becomes a chargeable Bistro but there's no law against eating there. Drink prices are high with the Euro equalling £1 so most are in excess of a fiver a glass. Wines are typically 18 - 35 Euros a bottle..........Wilba

thanks for info. so for a 11 night cruise, I usually have 3 pints and my wife 2 glasses of wine, this will work out about £250. About £70 more than usual. But hey I be on holiday so can live with that. More worried about geting something to eat around 10 pm. without having to pay for it. Is there anywhere for this?

I have done a couple of MSC's and from recall most things outside of normal dining times are chargeable. Pizzas' tea, coffee, water, ice cream all come at a price. Midnight Buffets (free) were available some nights and I remember the waiters going around the bars with trays of canapés etc. from around 11.00pm, but like some other lines they keep the ticket price rock bottom and then pick your pocket once onboard.........Wilba
