Thanks for the replies, we booked in January for end of July on Oceana and getaway fares were not on the website them. We are really looking forward to our holiday so don't think that the Vantage question will distract from it, just wanted some insight.

All prices quoted should include fuel prices whether Vantage or Getaway never seen them on any website to not include them. If your cruise is before July the prices you are seeing on other websites might be Getaway prices and if so you will not be due any reduction with reference to Price Promise because that doesnt cover Getaway fares.

In my opinion there is no price promise they are released as getaway fares so P.O. do not have to make up the difference, best time to book is 6 to 8 weeks before sailing unless you want a specific cabin and dining time.

There was always something going on, be that Ballroom dancing or learning the tango (I didn’t do any of this for th...

Adonia back with P&O

By Gemma Coles

Gemma Coles's blog

It doesn’t seem that long ago when we said goodbye to the P&O Adonia. P&O Adonia left the fleet in 2015 with much sadness to lots of passengers. The ship went to Fathom Cruises which is a line dedicated to volunteer tourism. Guests were taken to locations such as the Dominican Republic to help teach English or build water filtration systems to help with poorer countries. Carnival Group have now announced that after an upgrade to the ship, with the addition of a new rest...
