Done it recently. Our third time. Went out of term time for a change and sadly ruined and overrun by badly behaved kids and just as badly behaved parents. Constant jumping/ bombing into the only deck pool and after complaining made to feel like a terrorist by the parents even though there are many signs around the pool saying no jumping/diving etc, the animals just carry on. Funny it seems that when i got "a white shirt" poolside the asbos stopped immediately without a word said, and not a murmur from mum and dad either. Sadly the experience wont be repeated again and Thomson have lost two good customers to a better cruise line and better clients with better behaved children. Island cruses i feel attracting the wring kind of A/L loony`s now!!!

On the other hand , if your partner is employed by one of the largest cruise travel agenci...

Well I am back from my Italian holiday and I paid a visit to Trento, the capital city of Trentino Alto Adige in the north of Italy nestled between the Alps. The drive to Trento was lovely and the view driving through by car was amazing, we were surrounded my mountain by their white tips all the way there. Verona to Trento is about 1 hour and there are good train connections. We visited an Aeronautical museum of Giovan Battista Caproni, one of the most important engineers of Aeroplane’s h...

It seems to me these days that people spend so much time moaning and whingeing about this and that, nothing works like it should and nothing is ever good enough, I thought it nice to share the thoughts of this refreshingly positive chap recently stranded on the NCL Star out in Australia.Francis Lahue and his wife were passengers of the Norwegian Star as it faced engine problems last Friday morning after leaving port. The luxury cruise ship was forced to bob without direction 30km off the coas...
