Richard Okill - Answered a Question by Cowper (22 Dec 08 16:50)

Hello neighbour. The third day of your question and no one appears to want to answer. This may be due to the fact that, as in my case, when I made 2009 future bookings in May of this year, fuel surcharges were not made; therfore no refunds are due. Regards and happy cruising. Richard.

Agree. P&O should not be imposing a fuel surcharge. All passengers should be refunded the amount they paid.

P & O is included. Have had correspondence which confirms that where fuel surcharges have been paid the the on board account will be credited at the time of departure.

How do we know if we paid a surcharge? We booked our cruise well over a year ago and have now paid in full. It is interesting to read your comment - is this a recent corresp from P&O - can't seem to find anything official anywhere.

We did not book the cruise unil August and paid a surcharge. If you have not paid a surcharge then there won`t be a refund. P & O will respond promptly to any query if you contact them through "contact us " on their web page.
